    Opened the turn, events:
    - Vox attacked us with 2 chariots and a horse archer and killed our Home Guard (Combat II + Shock)
    - Barb axe near Mhasa has destroyed the road - what a wise move! Here Blake's AI shows some flaws - it could've moved unto pasture and razed it.


    Things needing to be decided:
    - where to move our southern scout? I suggest along the route - SE into a forest encroached by a river - it should be safe there.
    - what promotions if any to give our chucks that are in foresr near Moscow? I suggest they both have Combat I, so if one is wounded, they'll switch posts.
    - what to build in Beijing next? (list on the last turn's post)
    - what to build in Mhasa next? I suggest worker since it has only missionaries, barracks, mil units settlers and workers to build. We're also running short of workers as our empire grows in territory and population.

    Finished it up as per turnchat:
    - Beijing set to workboat (will do some exploration while not needed)
    - Mhasa set for worker (we're running short of these)
    - Forward chucks both have Combat I, so if it's not an instant kill (extremely unlikely), they'll switch as defenders.

            I wouldn't bet on Horde - if they're indeed allied with Sarantium as posted in public forum, I think they will hold.

            As much as you can guess from public postings is that Mercs are on the defensive and kicking Sara's and Horde's ass.

            Turnaround times are cool.
            Vox should be done by Xmas - even faster turnaround times afterwards.

                      well thats the hard part of mp:

                      - diplomatic victory: no chance unless we already won with domination
                      - domination: when we are nearing the treshold, all other teams will allie to get us down
                      - culture: same as domination
                      - space race: will take ages and can be stopped by taking out one city
                      - conquest: well i think this is the easiest

                      btw: i don't want to suggest anything but their order of attack is rather, illogical:

                      they attack chuck with 2.5/4 chariot and do no damage
                      they attack chuck with 4/4 chariot and do no damage
                      they attack chuck with 6/6 horse archer and kill it

                      in this order ...

                        Our score is so much higher than the second team. also we have a lot of wonders. I wouldn't be surprised, if GS and the civs on the other continent ally against us sooner or later. Let's take that into strategic planning.

                          If we fear it, we should strike at GS before they meet anyone else.
                          We'll have advantage in knowing the other continent.

                              We were discussing advantage of having a neighbour and trading techs. I recently played BTS a bit and have quite few observations, that pertain to vanila also, i think.
                              Expanding too early kills research, and I have seen how even a single city too many can doom a civ. We are over that period now, but still several cities too many can slow research and economy to a point that other will gain advantage.

                              I think of measures like:
                              - knowing what other civs are doing. We do not have good espionage options here, but we may plan whatever we can. Exploration will definitely help.
                              Foreign Intelligence Datalinks by PJayTycy is an excellent stuff.

                              - Fast reaction forces. Mounted units. We would have some in the middle of the country, so not many needed. If there are numerous pikemen, they will not help much, but still in a turn of need they may decrease our losses later. It may happen, that we will have a war when horses will be obsolete, but let us think about it.

                              - Any scenarios of possible events in the future. When for a short time it seemed GS campaign against Vox failed, we considered hitting GS, thus keeping GS and Vox at conflict so they cannot grow - such scenarios is useful stuff, as it may show us some possibilities we wouldn't think of otherwise.

                              - any other ideas...
