Interesting, Vox is apparently down to 1 pop in both cities, while GS is getting down on GDP.
I'd say GS has started moving a large army out of their borders(hence the gdp dip due to supply) for a final strike on Vox and some archer(skirmisher on GS's part) was killed in an early skirmish.

        - settle rice city check, we need a name here

        - have worker nearby start farm on rice check
        - switch Tassagrad to Heroic Epiccheck
        - start making winery on the wine near Xiancheck
        - move workboat unto fishcheck
        - move worker near Bananapolis unto forestcheck
        - heal and promote units in the ruins of Splitsvillecheck
        - advance the full health units towards rice farm/barb citycheck
        - whip Granary in Mhasacheck

        added:

moved missionary to the new city to spread judaism

        unsolved issues:

        new city name
first production (forge or granary) in that city

        to do:

        gift currency to GS

this means someone on the other continent has metal casting and used a forge to get one

              Mercs:
              0800 BC : 0261 : +013 : era-2 tech discovered : 12 tech : ? (? in 20 turns)
              ...
              0750 BC : 0287 : +020 : +3 tech-era points : 15 tech : ? (traded with Sarantium)
              ...
              0700 BC : 0313 : +020 : +3 tech-era points : 18 tech : ? (?)
              Sarantium:
              775BC : 0263 : +013 : era-2 tech discovered : 13 tech : ? (? in 21 turns)
              Mercs got MC in 800BC
              Sara got Literature in 775BC
750 BC - trade (probably including Literature)
700 BC - trade (probably including Literature)
700 BC or 675 BC -> Mercs finish forge.

This would also explain rapidly rising mfg goods output for Mercs.

Put granary as first production (since the city would only get the whip modifier from forge - doesn't have enough hammers) and sent on.

We still need to decide on the name of the city.

                Some statistics:
We're first in GDP with 41 to GS 38
                2nd in Mfg with 40 to 47
                2nd in Crop with 55 to 56

I suppose this means we are abandoning(expectations of getting) the great library?

Yes I did, I minimized the investment for one turn because last turn we were investing more than planned and also because we're running risk of being beaten to it.
