  • turn 66 : 1400 BC

    Turn has arrived, I won't be able to play it (no access to civ4 this evening + work tomorrow).

    Things to do:

    Being
    -> Change being production to library
    -> Whip with 2 pop
    -> Switch back to library

    scout
    -> Move NW into hills or go south (I'm in doubt if the route back north is necessary)

    [b]worker[b]
    -> finished the pasture, I don't know if the pasture should be roaded. Probably not.

    anyway, I won't be able to play in the next 24 hours

            Oops I forgot to repeat explicitly to put research back on after whipping the library. Did you do it? (not a real problem if you didn't).

            From your screenshot it seems the banana score didn't change since last turn (195 points).

                (Yes, from memory: my excel sheet is at home, I'm at work)

                There didn't happen that much :

                We lost 12 points due to whipping 2 pop (we were second and had 195)
                Sarantium built their third city and gained 6 points.

                I guess you are all surprised of the scores due to our -12, the others didn't do much really. :-)

                  btw, that screenshot with scores is from before endturn; after endturn we already grew back to 4 pop in Being, with our score = 189 = sarantium's score.

                  In other news, Vox' capital aka hindu-holycity is the first city on earth to get it's third culture expansion. Their territory now covers 48 tiles from one city (ours is currently 37 tiles from 3 cities).

                      oops i didn't notice that it has changed, my bad ...

                      next turn:

                      worker builds road
                      science to 100%
                      citizens back on the cottage
                      ...

                      do we have a story yet to explain how we can build the colossus in 9 turns?

                      banana, and gs will know we hided something from them

                        We had only 3 citizens at end turn : rice + floodplain + engineer.
                        We grew back to 4 at the moment we hit end turn, and the game automaticly chooses where to place the newborn.

                          We should be able to beter control where it assigns the extra worker using the governor.

                          We shouldsave before hitting end turn, and trying different configurations whenever what we want doesn't happen (is this legal? we can always set up a sim).

                            It doesn't matter N3stor. After hitting endturn, our people gather food/gold/hammers based on the tiles they worked before hitting endturn. Then, the collected gold is used for research, the hammers for the collossus and the food to grow. If the food-bar overflows, a new citizen is born. The newborn is put *somewhere* but hasn't done anything yet.
