So 9 turns of working the unpastured cow is 9*2 18 food.
After the pasture, cows are 3f3h, meaning growth will come after two turns working the pasture. An extra citizen in a grass forest will mean 8 more turns to growth, on time to whip one of them and put the other to work on the iron mine. We'll be left with two stored food and grow back to size 3 22 turns later if we work the mine constantly, down to 8 if we work the grass forest.

We'll have 2 cows + metal cities, which is great for pumping units out... I'd really like to fund city site 6 before the war, and get it to produce some commerce to fund the nana cities until we can get them productive...

    /me goes make some lunch.

      No, 3f 3h, because it's on plains.

Whip is a good idea, we should definitely build at least two of these:

      Barracks
      Granary
      Forge

Im in favour of Barracks+Forge, and Granary coming up later, once we've spit out the mil units.

We'll have 2 cows + metal cities, which is great for pumping units out...
Yeah, thought that too. Another reason to avoid anyone scouting our territory now, as seeing such a productive setup first thought would be its for units.

I'd really like to fund city site 6 before the war, and get it to produce some commerce to fund the nana cities until we can get them productive...
Probably settler could be produced at this, third city, have to draw up a production plan and see.

        duh

        [edit:] There

We migth want to irrigate the forest tile that's in both beijing and city3's radius (which will be roaded, and thus chopped for chukos) and have both cities use it alternately for growth bumps.
