Well, of course the different positions will be just for fun... In any case, we can actually make the government fit the current positions, rather than the other way round.

For example, for the moment Safan would be the Despot (or whatever we name it till we form another civic), but if PJay plays some turn (like he did 2240) then he'd be the Despot for those years, and we can have a story about how he took power by force (and, as was the case on that attempt, Safan's followers rallied behind his son and eventually Safan II managed to regain the power which was his father's.)

I'd like to propose the following nominations designed to match people current roles with an apropriate title.

Emperor - Turn player - Safan - He plays the turn already

Chanclor - Backup Turn player - Maniac & BinTravin - Both do a lot of planing

High Priest - Indirect Inteligence - PJayTycy - has been doing tea leaf readings on the Score graph and maintaining a database of glened inteligence, this ones a no brainer and is deliciously apropriate.

Royal Concubine - Spam Master - Tassadar - This position gives Tassadar a title ligitimizing his primary skill

Supream General - Military planning and execution - Maniac - I saw Maniacs military planning first hand in Cycon days and think he would be fit to command

Chief Diplomate - Conduct Diplomacy - As the Incumbant I nominate myself - I realize I've been a bit slow on getting messages sent out but I'm still interested in retaining the position.

Master Eunuch - I was actualy being facicius with the Harum guarding bit, Eunuch's in China were actualy a powerfull buracratic class so it is considered high ranking, I'd say give it to the runner up for Chanclor and consider it to be the 3rd in line of succession.

Were going to need some additional titles, I'd like to avoid titles that imply a level of focus that we dont have like "Minister of City placment" or "Minister of GreatPeople production". More nutral stuff thats just a recognition of general active partisipation would seem to be more apropriate. Some speculative titles.

Please sugjest more titles or declare your candidacy for a title. I think with our small numbers its ok to nominate yourself or even propose a title and nominate yourself for it.

Rather than have an emperor already, let's at least wait until we get the appropiate civics....

I'd say that we keep it as simple as possible for the moment, with a Great Chief or some other ancient title like that (Despot, Enlightened Leader) and not many cabinet positions...

Thus, when we get Bureaucracy, we can come up with at least 4 or 5 different titles per active member, and assign them accordingly

With simple, I mean no fancy titles like Supreme Emperor until we get the techs to justify such a position...
