BTW, there's nothing wrong with using the secondary color ... nobody else uses a significant amount of blue near your secondary color in their flag. Sara uses a very green teal, and GS has a very dark blue and a red.

Oh, hm. Try one thing - what happens if you use the bWhiteFlag = 0 instead of = 1? That may affect it ...

LOL ... bWhiteFlag=0 makes white pixels turn orange (primary color). So you can't use that with Tao, but with any flag that doesn't use any pure white (255,255,255) pixels in its picture, then put bWhiteFlag as 0 and put white in the actual picture (not the alpha) where you want primary color.

They've already seen them in the thread I mentioned and you have not yet read.

The secondary color MUST be different from the primary color; this color is used in other areas of the game. The easiest way to do it is to simply put your own orange in. There may be a way of doing it with the alpha channel; I have no idea. (Do things other than black or white mean anything in the alpha channel?)

Hmm, I'll try painting some gold/orange versions.

The reason the wiki doesn't discuss it, is that the wiki (well as of the last time I read it) assumes you have an all black alpha channel, and if you do, neither primary nor secondary color matter.

Hmm, even 240,240,240 (quite noticeably gray) shows up as orange... not sure at what point they cross the line, but I don't think you can have a reasonably white tao and still use the primary color without just painting it in.

BTW, I had read that thread, and it was confusing with all of the pictures most of which involved colors that didn't make sense (purple etc.) ... it's easier if people have screenies of actual possibilities

Transcend doesn't work very well, but here it is. (I left the blue around it, using your transcend, but that's easily changed to white and thus orange)

Actually that is the trancend specialist icon. The symbol is the post #37 flag. The transparent border around this one was supposed to be filled with orange so that we can see how it looks but it does not function.
