      Re: Team Poll : Settings

      These would be my preferences:

      Barbarians: Raging
      Level: Noble
      Alliances: All alliance options on
      Tech trading: on
      City Razing: on
      City Flipping: Normal
Victory Conditions: All on except Dominance
      Game speed: Quick
      Starting era: Ancient

Edited with the extra 2 options.

Small map - continents, or ice age normal.
      map design: random+review.

AFAIK, resources can't be checked separately for health/lux and strategic?

I think the main thing I have different to everyone else is the difficulty, which I think should be harder. Otherwise, there's really no base management involved. Also, I don't think there will be ai in this game (Correct?) so them running away with the game isn't an issue.

I also agree with Senethro re game length, although I've gone for Pangaia not terra as I think Terra will give some teams an unfair push for the new world.

I like normal speed because there's just no time to move your army around on quick, units don't move faster on quicker time settings. If you had a small map then quick might work, but with 7 civs that would be nasty.

I do not want a pangea as I think it removes ships from the game too much, and the ship techs should be important.

Terra limits the size of the main starting location (which is good) avoids any chance of unfair or split continents, and gives us an interesting mid to end game. It also maes ship techs a valid option even though there's only one starting continent.

                      Anyone else?

Civ IV is digital crack. If you are a college student in the middle of the semester, don't touch it with a 10-foot pole. I'm serious.

Im in favour of higher levels too, actually.

If not for the AI cheats that would be the only levels I play in most games.
As there will be no AI in this one, I see no problem in going maximum difficulty level.
The harder it gets the more will we learn.

You have 16 more hours to vote before I submit our poll results to snoopy369.
