What is the value of walls Vs humans? They will either avoid attacking or use bombardment to drop our defense. Units can defend and attack.

The main value in walls is buying time. AC seem to be relying on CKNs at the moment for collateral damage. I have never seen an AC catapult.

But I see your view. In view of the number of forests that will be cleared at Carnero, a barracks (rather than wall) will reap greater dividends. That way we can whip/chop CG2 longbows in that city.

Sorry for the short report - I am unwell and need an early night.

Basically, AC has 4 CKNs (all promotoed), 2 Macemen (both unpromoted) and 4 workers in view. Monsoon will fal next turn (it is undefended).

All cities set to build War Elephants, except The Voice which is building a barracks for Heroic Epic. I whipped an Elephant in EotS.

Unfortunately, I moved a Spear east of The Voice for fogbusting, only to find a barb axeman in the adjacent tile. Goodbye Spearman.
