Dominae and the Apolyton Hall of Fame

I've been asked by DarkStar for some input on Dom's write up for the HoF. 1, or a short 2 paragraphs is usually what they want. Has he asked any of you?

Anybody want to help me make Dom sound like a Nobel laureate? I have not crossed paths with our esteemed team mate for some time now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dominae may be the smartest person on Apolyton. Not flashy, not intense... but just THERE, and always incisive and intelligent. He is our Spock ( and that is high praise, indeed).

I don't know all of his history here: Civ3 Strat forum stalwart, a founder of Apolyton U, a constant and wise presence for Civ 4 in all of its iincarnations.

And he has the frickin' scariest avatar I've ever seen, anywhere.

I would say the AU was a large part of the value contributed to Poly by Dom.

I wasn't paying enough attention at the time. Was he one of the ones who started AU?

Well my memory of it was that Axelman was the one that made the mod and Dom made many of the games and of course played the early ones, but it was a long time back.

Just that those two names are the ones I recall as pushing it, with T and Arrian playing nearly all the games prior to C3C.

Prior to AU, the first comparison game was me, Arrian, Dominae, and Txurce. I then got the ball rolling on AU formally, but Dominae made huge contributions in terms of overall course thinking and actual game design, and then of course played and commented throughout.
