HM, a small request to make, but don't bother if it's too much trouble. Could you perhaps indicate for the cities how long we suffer unhappiness from poprushing? Something like 'Taz city (3 turns of pop-rushing unhappiness left)' It might give us a better idea of when we can rush something where...

I'll reiterate my thoughts: I think we can use an additional spear presto: Taz and wines are not exactly overcrowded with defenders, and we might want to dispatch the spear we've got to protect the cats while in transit to the Voice. It makes a big difference if we can rush him efficiently or not.

We can quite safely rush a spear at the last moment.

Just put a turn production into the spear, and then it can be rushed for 2 pop once Taz grows (the spear will complete when we end the turn, of course, so even if the horses appear right next to the city, the spear will still be able to fend them off).

I wouldn't necessarily get the spear if the horses don't turn up. I think that Vox will probably see the spear lurking and decide it's too suicidal to send their horses in.

well, ok, that sounds like a plan then. But I'd do it in both cities: get 1 turn of production in both Taz and wines, just to be on the safe side.

I really think Vox is going to try to pull something like this off, after all if they stay put they know they die. All they can hope for is some honour in the fight (and this is very similar to their behaviour last time, btw. To put everything in the last final battle)

Is there any way - any at all - that they could sneak the horses around the south and try and take out EotS?

Is there someway to determine this? I see the "We cannot forget your cruel oppression" item in the unhappiness details, but nothing about turns.

Highly doubt it - our scout has been walking around down there.

Switch to Spears in both Wines and Taz this turn then? We could move Schumaker (Skirm) away from the Voice, northwards towards the worker to reestablish a sentry in case the horses are afield. Thoughts?

I've been neglecting to give updates on the Voice contents - it now has seven Archer defenders, including Donegal (double city defender), and two other single city defenders. That to me says they built a Barracks.

to one turns towards spears in Wines and Taz.

Think we'll see them comming in time if they aim for our capital, lots of forests and hills down there that will give us a coupple of turns to respond.

Neville was victorious once again and earned a promotion - what shall it be? And how shall we counter this annoying barb?

Cats are ready to move out - we need a precise plan for getting them to the Voice safely.
