Three cheers for SpineBreaker, who fought off a Barbarian attack. Unfortunately, he is at 0.1 strength and will take 10 turns to heal.

Vox did move to the grassland - oh well. Yang's scout showed up by Taz City as well.

The Voice now only has one Archer in it, and it appears to be their first named unit - Doneagal. However, with double city defense promotions, I don't think we'll be attacking. This means that another Archer has been shuffled out of the city.

Post your thoughts, suggestions, etc. Turn to be played and sent on later today.

Axe (what name?) 9 (already done I see)

That is about all really. We could try some stuff with the workers but I don't want to tread on Blakes toes Steady as she goes, I think.

Yup. We can send the axe we have now up there as well to kill that warrior (meaning we can withdraw the skirm back to the desert hill after the warrior is dead). the experience would be nice as well.

If it hangs around. The warrior should be able to evade our Axe if they so desire.

Spiney is toast if a wolf wanders by. Heal, little pixel!

DAMN about Vox's move. My gut told me they'd do that (stupid) and we could nail the warrior. But we played it safe, expecting them to be smart, which is the right play. Arg.

They've shuffled an archer (or two?) out, eh? Maybe they'll try and come around from the SE.

Just for S&G's what are the combat odds attacking the Voice?

              Base str3, +25% fort bonus, +75 unit ability bonus + ? 50% for garrison II = 7.5?

We do have two skirms that could attack. I wonder, if we ran trials, how often would we win that fight?

Yes, we must cover that forest tile. Cantona 89.

Basically we gamble everything on the first skirm. I'd do that with an unpromoted archer sitting alone in the Voice, but with a CD2 archer attacking would be just stupid (more so than Vox are playing.)

Vox' increase in power a few turns back is due to BW+archer, right? Or did they go for AH?

and I'm tempted to move the third choker towards the Voice... probably they'll build an archr next turn, but if not they'll have to move one of their archers in.

It won't make a difference on what we choke, so maybe we can disrupt them a little...

Do you want to move the Skirm (Beckham) at The Voice 41 to The Voice 4? I can see how that might cause Vox some consternation, both with the defense of The Voice and of the floodplain just north of it, but I can't see how that doesn't "make a difference on what we choke", as we would be occupying one less forest tile. Please explain/expand.

You're right about putting a little more pressure on Vox, for at least 1 turn.

As to not making a difference: they can't reach that forest right now, and we only have 3 chokers present. We can't cover all grass forests, the cow, and either the fp or the gold. If we don't cover the grass, it's not going to get used anyway. And, we don't lose a defensive position for as long as they can't reach the tile.

It's not big, of course, but it might throw a little wrench in their plans. Or at least, it calls their bluff.

I'm still confused, by the bolded part. What stops their citizens from working any forested tile we step away from?

If anything with the warrior, they may try to outflank Schumacher, at the very least forcing him to relinquish the hill in order to kill the warrior. Of course, as long as we don't commit the axeman past the road hub until we see what they do with the warrior, we should be able to counter that easily enough.
