No, I'm not Canadian, but I've got ties. My father came to the US via Canada (in Canada for ~20 years) and one of my sisters livesi n Canada (just outside Toronto). Further, being a fairly liberal New Englander, I'm more similar to a Canadian than I am to some Americans.
