    We're in a better position if you push our advantage here (especially given the sacrifices made for our third Warrior), so no peace.

        I'm not very good with these things, but what can we possibly say? If they remain diplomatic and offer a cease fire or whatever, we politely decline (unless their offer is surprisingly good). If they cry foul and expect us to react, we stand firm.

          All we can say is that we have have no immediate plans for a cease-fire.

          Personally I would like to negotiate a deal with Vox to allow us to get Monotheism. I can understand that some of us would like to fight a campaign against them, and that might be in our interest, but it would be unusual to say the least to start a war when we're still two techs away from the unit we would need to build to wage that war.

          Usually the time to start a war is when the SoD arrives on the enemy doorstep.

              OK.

              What about the promotion? Woodsman strikes me as a good choice. With a little luck we can get Spinebreaker to Woody 2 before long. Also, using it now instead of saving it speeds up healing by 3 turns or so.

                Yes, getting the heal from a promo now is probably necessary, and Woody seems as good a choice as any at this stage to me.

                  I vote for Woodsman I as well; I hope there are some more Animals out there to practice on. Combat I is the other option, on the way to Medic I. Medic Promotions are really good when you're choking.

                    Further, it looks like he should go to the forest next to the river, and between us and where Vox is supposed to be. This way, we can scout them without fear of getting attacked if we don't want to, and the forests should give us enough protection until chariots/axes.

                              Dont think so, according to the power graph they have 6000 soldiers if i read it correctly and have increased from 4000 with two increases at 1000 each (with just two turns inbetween) so they have built one warrior and could've popped another?
