Turn 16, 3400BC -
Apolyton Civilization Site
The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.
25 themes/skins/styles are now available to members. Check the select drop-down at the bottom-left of each page.

First Master, Banan-Abbot of the Nana-stary, and Arch-Nan of the Order of the Sacred Banana.
Marathon, the reason my friends and I have been playing the same hotseat game since 2006...
What if the Lion doesn't attack us? If he moves away (into the fog), which way do we move?
I'd like to reiterate my strong desire to go south-east (3) towards the river and the most likely location of Vox. We really really want to find them as soon as possible.
I am aware, of cause, that there is risk involved in moving that way while the lion is out there. To help quantify exactly what that risk is, does anyone know:
-the percentage chance of the lion choosing to attack us on this difficult level?
-the probability distribution graph of our likely health after this battle (I understand that it's not the "normal" distribution, since our first couple of battles against animals are "protected" and the lion will do less damage than normal).
Most likely move 3 if the lion doesn't attack. However, experience tells me it will (they may veer off on one turn, but they will bite the next).
Incidently, I just lost a warrior in 1st combat against an animal (not the first time). I've also lost several archers to barb warriors. Don't never take anything for granted if the stakes are high. The stakes are high in a team demogame.

(")_(") This is Bunny. Copy and paste bunny into your signature to help him gain world domination.
Platypus Rex sent us a save email...with no attachment. I have posted in both turn threads and PM'd him, however he just stated that he's on 12 hour work days, so we may be waiting awhile yet.

Someone please check religions this turn - if Saranium hasn't got one, then they probably aren't in the religion race either.
Religion screen shows Buddism was founded in 3480.
Since Sara jumped in score in 3440, and they come after us in the turn order, they are the team that founded Buddhism.
That same turn once civ switches to 15 beakers per turn, but only for 1 turn (back to <= 12 now) - probably Sara getting the tech one turn earlier.
There's still a civ with 3 food and one with 4 hammers out there. The 3 food wasn't for the 15 commerce civ, so it only makes sense if someone is running 3 food 4 hammers to build an emergency warrior IMHO.
No other changes in the demographics or scores.
Significantly though, Vox hasn't jumped in score. Which means that they haven't just narrowly lost out on getting Meditation. Which means they may have gone for Polytheism first...
so, next turn we should know whether Vox went for Poly? Quite a big difference in how we will handle the next couple of turns... Mono is a big tech just for Org Rel, but in case we miss out on the 2 first religions, it certainly jumps on my list. Especially so now that we know Vox is near, and weak (1 warrior present if I followed the analysis). For Vox alone, we won't need to go to skirmishers asap...
