  • Whipping

I wanted to note that several teams have approached me about the legality of using the known "whipping" exploit. Given that it is not a game-changing exploit, and it is one that is unavoidable in some circumstances (ie, it could actually penalize some players to prevent them from using it), I decided to agree to allowing its future use. (Also, I don't think I have enough time now to prevent its use if someone wanted to do so, as I'm only reading posts, not analyzing saves all that thoroughly.)

I presume every team has at least one player that knows about this. If not, google "whipping exploit", it'll come right up. It in certain circumstances increases by double the number of hammers generated by whipping (pop-rushing). It has been eliminated in Warlords, but is present in the game at the moment.

This okay with everyone? I don't think it's a big deal but figured I should mention it to anyone who might have assumed it was not allowed.

    Okay.

Hey Skro, er, I mean Daddy-O. How's your China collection coming along?

Yes, Con has indeed let me, the founding father of Sarantium, out of the dungeon. It is good to breathe the clear air of Apolyton again.

(In fact, RL had been very topsy turvy since February, and included some major life changes as well as parental care. It is good to be back. I have not played a lot of Civ4, and have catching up to do on a lot of fronts.)
