Hmm, "new game" is indeed grayed out. Weird.

Maybe... hmm. I'll look into it, there're some possibilties for why no new game is startable (i'd created a wbsave to scenario from before).

You should be able to use the included save to play around with the WB presumably and create a random map, if you want to.

Edit the mod ini file (/mods/c4dg colors/c4dg colors.ini)

change "allow public maps" to 1

For the love of, umm, something important. Can you write out a 1-2-3 for those of us who don't make modifying Civ a religion? I know that I could figure it out but really, I don't have the time and don't care.

Make some jokes about me and then make it easy, OK?

Download the mod in the first or second post. If you don't know if you have Winrar, just do the zip.

double click on the file, Windows will automatically ask where you want it, and give a default place. Click browse.

Should be placed in windows\program files\firaxis\civ4\mods
(click each of those in that order)

Once pointed in that direction, just hit next, and you should be done.

Hey Snoopy!

Just one question.. Why does the team Sarantium still have that awful cross flag?

In the mod it is the right one, but when we got the save the old flag was there. We have the mod installed and it seems to work alright... but with the official save -> wrong flag!

Plat, that picture doesn't help me any can't read it, and i don't think it would help anyway.

Just make sure you have a folder that's like this (not abbreviated):
/program files/firaxis/sidmeierciv4/mods/c4dg colors/assets/

That's the full folder structure. If you don't have that exact structure, you won't be able to play right.

Flamer, i'm not sure. I had installed a pic for sarantium, maybe I messed it up somehow... will look at it. A few issues came up with changes that I made post-scenario creation, the scenario didn't like taking the picture.

Yeah, that's the problem ... and unfortunately due to the XML protection I can't fix it now My apologies ...

It considers Sarantium to be the "england" civ, not the "sarantium" civ in the XML files, due to the fact that they probably weren't in there correctly when the scenario was created (not the save, but the map). I didn't realize this would be a problem at the time

Looks like this doesn't work with Civ4 for Mac. Probably due to the file paths being differed.

Hmmm... probably. There is a file path issue if you put it in /my documents/my games/ etc. instead of /program files/civ4/ etc... perhaps you could recreate the proper file path?

%civdir%/mods/

or try
%maindrive%/program files/sid meier's civilization 4/mods/

What directory structure does civ4/mac have, I wonder?

Oh, and does it LOAD under civ4 mac and just not play the save, or does it not even load?
