Who wants to start a new team?

Don't like the look of the current teams so am looking to start a new team.

Who's with me?

Looking for old schoolers and new peeps.

It's not that the other teams aren't good it just that no team jumps out and says "this is interesting" or "this is cool"

Was hoping someone else would start something up but things are starting to move quickly now.

Anyway, if enough people are interested perhaps we can get something going.

Don't know about team theme or name or anything and don't want to be any sort of leader guy so things are completely open.

Although I was thinking that perhaps the team could be less about winning the game and more about ruling a people.

Seems like an interesting idea. I would be in for that. Would allow me to learn the in's and out's of Civ as well.

I do like the look of some of the teams, but I'm also interested in anything unorthodox. I don't have any suggestions at the moment, but I'd certainly add this to my list of teams I must choose from if someone can find a cool theme.

I could be persuaded if team Merc doesn't work out. Though, OPD, you know you want to rejoin team Merc...

As I've said elsewhere. I won't be joining another team that is out to win the game as their primary goal. People take these things too seriously.

Actually, it looks more like Roleplay than Mercenary ... OPD, you should really look into joining with the former Roleplay people. They were very much about 'ruling a people' ...

C'mon guys, this isn't the merc team, read the whole post not just a suggestion in the last line.

Looking to start something new here, and as stated it is completely open to any who can think of a theme or idea.

Looking at the current teams;

Vox
BOH
Gathering Storm
Team Alpha Centaurians
Team Banana
Sarantium

4 pre-existing teams, 1 new team and 1 Banana team.

Don't think this line up is that interesting and dont' think it would make for a that good a game. GS vs BoH may be a good dust up and Sarantium might be interesting but other than that it'll just be a case of who out of Vox and Banana can spam the most.

So if anyone's interested please post now, and we can start a team up to whip these muppets into shape.

If you wanna get the Merc team going then great, that'll be interesting but do it in the other thread, leave this one for posts about the possilbe development of this team.

Going to use Dandong as the working title for the team until we see if we can get a theme and real name.

I never said it was RP reincarnated, and I certainly read the whole of the first post. I simply offered a suggestion that you might find like-minded people amongst the remains of RP...

I have not made up my mind which team to join, although Mercs, if allowed to play in this game, sounds like a good option.

One possible theme that a new team can build on is
- reglious fanatics, discover as many religions as possible and spread your religion to every part of the world
