You should by now......
Fed forwarded it to both you and me.I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Ok - here is how I see things.
Our axe has (unpromo'ed) a 65% chance of success at Mash.
The defilers have an injured Chokunu healing 8 of Mash.
If we move our axe 8 into the forest - I think they will move this Chokunu into Mash.
Which will only leave them 2 units to attack Bananapolis.
If we move the chariot back into Bananapolis - we will have 3 units in there. So we may have a small chance of, after they attack, taking out a Chokunu, if one is injured enough. Granted this is a small chance - given we will probably only have a warrior left.
However the defilers seem to be a cautious tribe of heathens with little spirit - so they may not want to take this risk.
A delaying tatic only to be sure - but........I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. Your thoughts would be appreciated - I will not play the turn for about another 20ish hours..........I don't know why he saved my life. Or we play chase the axeman and try and keep their forces split......I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. I was thinking of leaving the axe just north of splits where he is at the moment - it may just cause them to leave the chokunu 8 of Mash where he is.
Then send the chariot south of Bananapolis back to Bananapolis - so we have three units in there - vs their 2. Their two are stronger - however if they attack they run the risk of losing a unit if they get injured enough....
However we do run the risk of the defilers moving the chokunu into Mash - then attacking with the axeman in there. They can do this all in one turn. However we do have the advantage given that their axe has no promo's - our has Combat 1, and ours will also be fortified in forest. We could also promo our axe to Shock, which facing what we are is marginally better than Combat II.
There is also the option of moving our axe 6 - which will mean that they cannot attack us this turn, but this would signal, to me at least, that we do not really have much intention of using the unit aggressively.
In all probability we would not do this anyway, as the Chokunu would just take him out the next turn....
Also if they do move the Chokunu into Mash next turn - then the axe will need to withdraw next turn - or he will be toast next turn.
It is just a ploy - may hold them up for a couple of turns - or make them think that we know something that they don't..... (which I wish we did).I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Give the Axe woodsman and move northeast to gain the river bonus (That is if the river defensive bonus works on diagonals. If it doesn't work, then give cover retreat to Splits). Then see what AC does.USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
