There may be an possibility of taking it with the axe just south of Mash - the one that killed the scout.
He has Combat 1, plus should have another promo coming this turn. City raider is the obvious choice if we want to try and take Mash back. Would be advisable to run the numbers first before doing the promo - if we do not want to attempt Mash - then it is the wrong promo to choose to turtle up in Splits.
They only have one slightly wounded Axe in Mash at this stage - that may change when they play their turn.
If we do take Mash - then the only thing to do is burn it - we will never keep it.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
Who ever plays the turn will need to make that decision - no point wastefully throwing away an axeman if we are pretty sure he will not take Mash - IMO.
