Platypus Rex, I did not set up a poll, but people have weighed in here. I am seeing Team Banana lean towards:
1 - playing nice for now but no hard border or time limit.
2 - sending a mini-map as a good faith gesture, asking them for a mini-map.
3 - asking them to tell us what they plan to study so that we can co-ordinate techs.
Do we need a poll to confirm what Daddy-O, Platy, EPW, & WiseA.ss have already stated?
And yes yes yes - EPW and WiseA.ss reserve the right to call for more killing if this does not work out.

Team Banana does not wish to cause mistrust between our nations. Our women have just now finished wearing peels in their sandals for 7 days to lament this loss of trust. The change in attitude about a border agreement has nothing to do with your nation or our stance towards you. Truth be told, after we asked you about a border agreement, our elders went up to the Yellow Mountain and smoked dried banana skins for 5 days and 5 nights, as they are known to do. Together they had a vision of a 5 foot green banana. In this vision they rushed to peel it for they were hungry and its size was so that it could feed them all. Once the banana was opened, they were saddened to find it empty. The elders thought long about the meaning of this vision. The unripe banana was taken to be our young world. It's emptiness - a mistake in haste. The Great Banana, whose name shall not be uttered, sent our wise elders a warning about rushing into things that cannot be undone. The Great Banana has spoken.
Team Banana will not make any agreements regarding borders at this early stage, except for this, Team Banana will respect the borders of your nation as you do ours. We cannot agree to not settle the lands between us. The hippolactuses found in that region are a much desired resource as milk and cereal flakes go well with our bananas. However if you settle those lands before us, we will respect that.
As a sign of good faith we are sending a map of our lands. (See miniPlus.jpg) We ask that you send a map in return.
Team Banana is pleased to hear that you wish to co-ordinate our research. What are you planning to research so that Team Banana's scholars do not duplicate your efforts? How do you propose that our nations share this knowledge?
