Cultural/Science Advisor, someone to keep us on track for our ultimate goal of a cultural or science victory.

We either need someone or something to keep us on target. We need a defined goal and strategy to get there. We CANNOT be played by the other teams and bend to their strategies.

Without this, we have already lost.

should we come up with a 5 turn plan?, then re-evaluate at turn 3
for minor adjustments

always keeping our plans 5 turns ahead?

Do we come up with a strategy/general direction we want to head in even before we know our starting location? Are members of team Banana warmongers?

Not sure if I'd be good for any of the leader positions, as this is my first demo game.

definately a large army early on that will be upgrades as tech pace goes. maybe go for a crucial military tech and trade with everyone else.

The main reason I shot for Oracle woder, is the free tech.
But you can count on other teams doing the same

I like this idea. Maybe we vote on a general over-arching goal/strategy by turn 5 or 10. This is what we compare all short term (Platy's 5 turns) plans to.

I say jump right in. It's the best way to learn.
