IIRC it's about to expire in 6 turns.

I suggest moving Xi'an's grassland/hill miner to the winery. We're wasting surplus health and happiness there.

          turn played

          - Kill warrior, after it has razed our city OK
          - Move ax near Mhasa towards Dongjing OK
          - Continue scouting north (should we promote it at last?) OK (not promoted)
          - Continue scouting / chuk movement south OK we now see the bondaries of voxian northern city! looks we have more practise for our chucks
          - Set research to 100% OK
          - Move worker near Xian unto forest to chop it (not sure which forest, must be seen in game) OK
          - Change citizen allocation in Mhasa, so that copper mine is used OK

          added:
Moved 1/5/0 citizen in tassagrad to 3/0/3

worker nears ruins of Ghuangzhou set to chop, it says 2 turns and granary in Tassagrad says 1 so this should work out, right?

Moved the 1/3/0 citizen to the 2/1/4 spot in Xian

          to be discussed:
library in hong kong can be whipped for 2 citizens, one of wich will regrow next turn. atm it is 8 happy to 5 unhappy faces.

also the new production in dongjing. i set it on granary for now, could also be worker

          Global remarks:

GS told us they need 18 turns for philisophy, we would need 12 at 100%! We also rank 1 with 45 gnp compared to their 39gnp (possible because i moved those citizens in xian and tassagrad)

14 turns till marble is in our cultural boundaries

GS power dropped a lot compared to last turn. Possible failed attack (again) on vox? they still have two cities and GS still has 3

          mid-turn save:

Who says they are researching at 100%? We couldnt for that long. Whats our real research time on it?

Chukonus have odds on any unit they could have including horse archers. Lets get the bunched up before attacking though. BTW can they see our units?

Hong Kong would probably be better for workers.

We are\will be making settlers in hong kong. though it could make workers in between settlers(when waiting for whip unhappiness to fade) that would be a good city to specialize in making works infact

Or stay neutral at the least. Is it in our advantage to hasten Vox' demise?

                          It is definitely not.
At this point we could screw GS and kick their ass if we feel like doing it, which I kinda doubt.

                          Excellent work, PJay!

Ah, the joy of being a ''true friend or a true enemy''

A prince is also respected when he is either a true friend or a downright enemy, that to say, when, without any reservation, he declares himself in favour of one party against the other; which course will always be more advantageous than standing neutral; because if two of your powerful neighbours come to blows, they are of such a character that, if one of them conquers, you have either to fear him or not. In either case it will always be more advantageous for you to declare yourself and to make war strenuously; because, in the first case, if you do not declare yourself, you will invariably fall a prey to the conqueror, to the pleasure and satisfaction of him who has been conquered, and you will have no reasons to offer, nor anything to protect or to shelter you. Because he who conquers does not want doubtful friends who will not aid him in the time of trial; and he who loses will not harbour you because you did not willingly, sword in hand, court his fate.

In the second case, when those who fight are of such a character that you have no anxiety as to who may conquer, so much the more is it greater prudence to be allied, because you assist at the destruction of one by the aid of another who, if he had been wise, would have saved him; and conquering, as it is impossible that he should not with your assistance, he remains at your discretion. And here it is to be noted that a prince ought to take care never to make an alliance with one more powerful than himself for the purpose of attacking others, unless necessity compels him, as is said above; because if he conquers you are at his discretion, and princes ought to avoid as much as possible being at the discretion of any one. The Venetians joined with France against the Duke of Milan, and this alliance, which caused their ruin, could have been avoided. But when it cannot be avoided, as happened to the Florentines when the Pope and Spain sent armies to attack Lombardy, then in such a case, for the above reasons, the prince ought to favour one of the parties.
In reply to the first response, it doesnt mean anything at all.

                              Finished it up.

Switched back Xian to 1-3-0 as per agreement in turnchat - we need a settler asap there and the extra food from 2-1-4 will materialize only in 22 turns at the current rate.
Let's build settler there first and then focus on growth.

Dongjing - worker, to be finished at the endturn of next turn.

Library next turn if noone else manages.

CS finished, our score is 603, closest followers' - 414, we're also 1st in all relevant demographics screen stats.

We're running 83b/turn currently at 100%, with Library that will be >100b/turn, which is superior to everyone, even GS, since they don't have Libraries.

The GS power loss looks to me to be from 10-12 points which would equate the the loss of up to 4 Skirmishers or 3 more advanced units (spear, sword, catapult). With no loss of strength on Vox's part it certainly looks like an unsuccessfully attack by GS.

Defeating GS with our current army seems chancy to me, only if we caught them totally off guard while their main force was in Vox territory would it succeed, and succeed would constitute the capture/burning of two cities as that would effectively put them out of the game. A coordinated attack with Vox's assistance would be better but is diplomatically unfeasible so long as we and GS are at peace. Our forces could easily shore up the Vox defenses to the point that GS would be forced to abandon its plans of conquest and flee back to their own territory with their tail between their legs.

Another possibility presents itself, selling our services to Storm for a handsome profit. We could arrange to receive their Construction tech as the payment as their unlikely to want to divert commerce away from research right now.

Lastly theirs the simple fortify at the gates (ostensibly to protect our southern flank) wait for them to kill each other then rush in an clean up. It offers the best combination of sneakiness and flexibility as it leaves open a change of plan in the future should either side ask for help or an opportunity present itself.
