    Todo:
    - start chopping near Guangzhou with the newly arriving worker
    - move axe back to Dongjing
    - continue scouting north and moving the other scout south
    - continue moving chuks south
    - lightbulb GM before whipping anything

    Need to decide:
    - what should the worker near Guanghou do? It just finished farm and the closest options seem to be a chop or going to help Mhasa.
Mhasa is doing good with it's improvements and will be expanding in a turn to incorporate that nice copper mine, thus this city has no immediate need for worker attention.

Using a GP for a tech doesn't give beaker overflow, so shouldn't we use our great merchant too in this turn ? It's no use delaying the lightbulbing to get a few extra beakers due too higher pop if we waste them due to no overflow.

If you use GP and don't finish the tech with it and have more than the remaining beakers produced per turn, you still get overflow.

Yes, we should lightbulb it this turn, it will give us 1040b (+6b from last turn)

Well, as it wasn't listed in your TODO-list, I thought you wanted to wait an other turn.

opened the turn, not ennuf time to play but here are some observations. Bad news ...

Out of the dark between ghuangzou and the mash came a warrior. He destroyed our worker on the rice and he will destroy Ghuangzou next turn.

Our other worker that was to chop there should be retreated to another place until we have a new settler

I also propose to let the axemen patrol on the road, and build a fresh one in mash or dongjing for protection.

I know some of you like it lightly defended, but we should have a chuck in every city.

We have been outwitted by a barb warrior.
2 turns ago there were three barbs near Mhasa, last turn only one - one did a suicide on archer, one had disappeared.

I had no idea it would go by route to cut the shortest path to Guangzhou. Now it has killed the worker and next turn will raze the city.

I think we will be able to compensate for the loss of the city very quickly - Xian can have a settler done in 4-5 turns, Tassagrad in 6-8 turns, so let's build a settler in them both and resettle Guangzhou + one other location (I'd vote for the northern area taking in the improved wheat resource).

                  ouch, that's bad news...
perhaps barb/enemy sightings should always be posted with a screenshot so more people can look at them ?

May I suggest first building enough garrisons to defend our current and future planned cities?

This is what the temptation to gain turn advantage by skipping the "one garrison a city" rule of thumb leads to.

We skipped a garrison in the only city which was really vulnerable to barbs. That doesn't imply we need one in every city.
