    Events:
    - Vox declares war on us!
    - CoL gifted to us by GS
    - GS has converted to confucianism
    - Archer wins warrior, 2.3/3 left

    Actions:
    - Axe won another warrior near Mhasa coming from west, 0 losses
    - Zhou (barb city in south) razed by Chuk Jeger, 13 gold earned
    - Tassagrad set to Granary
    - Mhasa set to Courthouse
    - Worker near Dongjing started chopping another forest
    - New worker from Xian moved to help Guangzhou develop
    - Chuks moved south
    - northern scout runs along the coast - nothing new, southern scout catches up with chuks

I calculated that it is possible to have CS next turn without delaying GL - for that Xian needs to be adjusted for commerce output/growth (cottage + winery worked) and Beijing needs one citizen set to work sea instead of watermill.
Also Tassagrad needs one of it's citizen set to work a 2-0-3 tile.

Should we go for CS then?
Also, our score will reach high 500s with discovery of CS and will pass 600 with GL/couple more citizens, while other teams' best is 426 atm.

Excellent, everything is proceeding according to plan

Acceleration of CS that dosn't come at the expense of GL sounds good to me. Begining Courthouse building in the far eastern end of the empire is also an excelent idea, Mhasa will be able to build its relitivly quickly, the former nana-capitol will be slower though. We'll want to have the core cities do them as they finish their current tasks, possibly Xian can start right now.

I assume speeding up CS will be at the expense of *something*. From your message it seems this would be a little less hammers in Xian / Tassagrad for a few turns. I don't think that's a big deal.

However, what's the benefit of having CS one turn early if we won't switch to bureaucracy or start farm-chaining immediately (higher score doesn't count )?

        Humm, I guess none.

It's kinda zero-zero thing, neither option gives or takes anything significant.

Why isnt score a valid reason? I say hit it. Reason being i would rather have the tech than the GP sitting around

Score in my opinion is actually a negative thing - we don't want to scare our opponents, do we..

Played the turn without boosting research to finish CS (but still switched to CS from Calendar), due to valid concern of it having no need to be rushed.

In 3 turns we will have (if we are first) GL and CS, 4th turn from should will be anarchy while switching to bureaucracy and after that Beijing can build everything we want there.

Our score at the end of turn is 571 vs closest following, Mercs, 426.
