    Todo:
    - set the worker near Bananapolis to chop
    - move the worker near Hong Kong unto forest to start chopping
    - make fishing boats near Hong Kong
    - set one citizen of Beijing to 1-3-0 mine
    - move scout north
    - move healthy chuks south (the southernmost one - unto rice farm)

    Things to decide:
1.What to build next in Mhasa?
We wanted to do scout, but the overflow is 35, so making a scout would waste 5 hammers. Probably a worker for one turn, then scout, then back to worker?

2.What to build next in Beijing?
It appears that a "far away civ" will be getting Library before us. What should we build instead?
    Options:
    - monastery (60h, +50%) - 4+ beakers per turn
    - temple (80h, +50%) - would give +1happiness and better possibility to get a Prophet (if we pick up a priest)
    - National Epic (250h, +100%) - next GP in no later than 17 turns.
    - aqueduct (100h, +50%) -> The Hanging Gardens (300h, +100%) - +1 pop, +1 health everywhere, +2 engineer points, denial
    - something else?

Good idea! We can do it in mere 3 turns.

How much scouts would we want to put on the boat?
I'd say one, so he can pick up huts.
After trying to generate those continent maps I also don't think we'll be able to travel to the other continent all by coast, so I doubt more than one scout is needed.

Lets keep making the library for now, it will be mucho cash when we fail. Hanging gardens is good after that, or a galley. But unless snoop added a coastal connection its impossible for it to go to the other continent

Of course, if they don't take Library it's ours.

Monastery can be built in the same 3 turns with a good whip, so probably build that before going on to anything else?

Thats kind of a side-bet-at-the-horse-races topic.

A monastery would indeed pay itself off but when playing industrial i tend to build wonders until i get or lose them. I saw some math showing a IND civ makes a killing when losing wonders especially when you have the resource, allowing a very high hammer\money ratio(in the case of some crappy wonders it has been recommended to allow someone else to finish it )

well we don't have the resource, our bonus is +100%.
Dunno if it's a good deal.

The stuff with monastery and galley is they're both in 2 bundle size, which means we can build them very soon and it'd be optimal use for one killed pop (letting him die for 60 hammers).
Then we can build whatever we please.

My vote would be for monastery first as we can get it in 3 turns and the benefit is immediate (4b+ in Beijing) and increasing with each pop.

Monastery and galley are both usefull in beijing, the order doesn't matter for me, as long as we don't start an other 10+ turns project before a galley.

I don't care about the wasted 5 hammers in Mhasa, rather have scout there.

I'm wondering, assuming we can't continue on the Great Library, have there been any studies on the value of:

                    1) placing those two miners on coastal tiles, to grow to size 8 a little earlier.

                    2) when at size 8, instead of using slavery, stagnating growth and using two specialists?

Also, we're far under the happiness/health limit in Tassagrad. Why not move the 0-4-0 miner to the silk forest?

i cannot load game on this comp, but in the cities where happy limit is higher than health we can occasionaly wip population. is this current plan? I don't remember - Xian and Tassagrad have static 3 pop for some time.

I kind of like the coastal tile\specialists strategy

We may as well do something else in beijing than continue work on GL when a GE is out on the map. Even if they dont complete it next turn, they could be turns away from doing so. Every turn spent now on GL seems like a opportunity turn cost

We'll get a lot of money from it, and that's never a bad thing...

Whippign in xian and tassagrad is silly - they don't have that much surlpus to grow back fast and have some higly productive squares...

We dont have marble though, so our hammer to coin ratio isnt nearly so high. In addition every turn spent pouring hammers into the GL slush fund is turns those hammers dont go into more productive things.

Indeed. Eg working that 4 hammer mine would, when the GL is lost to us, result in 8 gold. Compare that to an engineer for instance: 3 hammers (2h +50% prod IIRC), 3 science and 3 GPP.
