It's also weird they didn't surrender yet...
    Maybe because we didn't offer?

How about making an offer to put it up and just surrender everything they have (and can surrender) to us and join our team?

Would save them a lot of bad feelings..

Is that allowed by the rules of the game?? We should run it by Snoopy, also I think it will need to actually SEE our incoming SOD before they resign themselves, their spirits have not yet broken (atleast their RP spirits)

Well, I reviewed the rules and they don't say anything about surrendering and gifting stuff.
I remember there was discussion that it shouldn't be allowed though.

Their RP spirits yes, but other than that they're desperate (see feds post).

And what is SEE and SOD?

          SOD = Stack of DOOM
SEE = see with emphasis, remember with all their units destroyed last turn they don't see any of our units and might be deluded into believing their own propaganda that our forces are meager.

Indeed, I thought of that too.

2 chuks and 2 axes might not scare them though.

I just wait input from my partners.

If they agree with me perhaps AC shall gain nothing from his evil deed.
doesn't seem so desperate ? Although, you could read it as : "even in what banana assumes the best case for themselves, AC won't lose anything anyway"

PJay, that IS the post I refer to as desperate.
It basically says "Aargh you infidels will get nothing as we will blow ourselves up!".

Offering them a chance at surrender now will come across as either lazy or arrogant, we should wait until the first city falls at least.

Ah, bT's question makes more sense now.

I'm not sure what the feeling would be about them joining your team. That's always a sticky point, what to do with defeated teams. Also, if they gift you stuff then join your team, that feels a bit too much like a shared victory scenario to me. If it's a possibility, i'd run it by the other teams first.

Who'd be all 4 against it..

I think we can still ask them to surrender and if they give up, have some sort of discussion about this.

My opinion about defeated teams is still the same as before the game started: defeated teams should only be allowed to join their conqueror. Otherwise a succesful conqueror gets punished by active people who want revenge, possibly moving to another team. Meaning it would be smarter to let the enemy survive with one small city. Given succesful conquest in the current situation: Banana -> AC, Vox -> GS. If they don't like it: bye bye, see ye next DG.

Btw, given Donegeal's post in the declaration of war thread and the fact they think we're conspiring with GS, don't we have to fear Vox now sharing techs with the Banana? Or doesn't any of them have the Alphabet?

                              They don't have Alpha, yes.

Regarding defeated teams - you can have much better revenge by joining a team and then secretly leaking data.
