Impaler suggested a poll, but, feeling that several members have already expressed support for us going Alphabet now and then trading in all the small techs (outsourcing our research 
), I would like to just list reasons why this is a good choice:
- trading allowed early and becoming a tech broker for at least some time
- less research needs to be done by ourselves as of trading enabled
- getting even more ahead of our opponents on the other continents (and hopefully on this too
)
- opening a path towards Literature, for Great Lighthouse build and Music, for attempting being first at it and founding a religion with the GA.
- if we fail to convince GS to trade Masonry, we will still have time to get it ourselves, should we decide to use GE for Pyramids
If you have any objections for taking this tech as the next, please post them along with an argument or few.
