Foreign intelligence : Mercenaries settled their third (!) city. It's also coastal, with 7 tiles land.

They are very fast in catching up with the rest after their slow growth in the beginning of the game. They are now clearly in the lead on the scoregraph.

I'm also working on Gathering Storm's powergraph, to see which techs they discovered.

Wow, they're really rushing it, but we are not far - our third will come in 3 turns.
Wonder what are the guys with a single city yet up to..

Where did we eventually decide to put our third city?

Senethro, I thought you were following - there were so much talk about how we should rush an obelisk by chopping.
It will be right north of the cows, to hook up iron after culture expansion.

Maniac's plan had 2 turns of Colossus first and then switch to Library. We'll just have to check it again vs current situation.

One strange thing I noticed is that:
                    - we had settler 126/100 finished after the whip
                    - we had +10 production into the settler
                    - after the whip it showed +40 hammers to Granary next turn which is kinda strange, knowing that:
1.there was a 26hammers production surplus from Settler
2.the production going past the line was +10
3.the production of next turn towards Granary will be +5,
so in total 41 hammer and I wonder where that one got lost..

Guess so, too much rounding can never be good.

I get confused because the discussion jumped between threads. A picture would be nice.

I made an arguement for moving that city site another tile north so it can take advantage of the wheat on the north coast. It can still work the cows because of Beijing's cultural expansion. The reason I think its important to have access to the Wheat is to make the city grow faster as Cows only give +2 food. It will also not be forced to share "fat cross" tiles with Beijing.

                              Did we decide against that?
