  • Offices of teh PRAVDA

Despite the attempts of some to curtail our liberties, I am (in the glorious spirit of Chairman Yang, who's illuminated path shall show us the way to victory) formally founding PRAVDA.

PM or e-mail me your articles, and I shall include them.

This is not acceptable. I have no entries from anyone, and I've only written 2 articles.

Either get them into me, or I will start rewriting history so badly that everyone else will be verily PWND irate:

I'd like to write something about how yang ended up in the far past, but I don't have much literary talent, so the story would suck.

Write it anyway. Its more about all teh PEOPLES writing for Pravda rather than the quality of the literature

A proposal for a Yang-history story in 8 parts, one part to appear in every PRAVDA issue. I'm posting the general flow of the story here, to know if there are any objections *before* I spend all my time writing something.

            ----------------------

            1) Daily life of Yang on AC around MY 2200. He's losing the war 1<=>6, although 2 out of those 6 have told him they'd switch teams if he was winning.
            2) Yang is captured. Lal sends him back in time as a punishment for atrocities.
            3) Yang arrives in a forest on a hill on earth and meets the first earthlings (a wolf and some barbarians), both of whom are not really friendly towards him
            4) Yang decides to use all his skill to rule a bunch of people from the very beginning of mankind, so he can take revenge (ie: kill Lal on Earth, before he can launch to AC)
            5) Yang meets some other people who look more organized and civilized. Not realizing what they are doing, they let him join them.
            6) Through his superior knowledge from the future, Yang quickly builds up his status. Three years after he has arrived, he rules the one and only city this tribe currently has. (The tribe, although moreorganized than the barbarians he ran into, didn't really have a leader previously)
            7) Lal sees what Yang is doing, realizes the threat and teleports him back to the future, into his personal 14th century torture chamber.
            8) We are left with the impressions of a great leader, try to do what he learned us, but we'll obviously make many mistakes that wouldn't have happened if he was here.

            ----------------------

If nobody has comments, I'll try to write and submit the first part this weekend.

              This looks nice!

Hope we can put together a decent story

8 Pravdas Considering I don't have anything for 1, 8 seems quite a ways away

Well, we could include some fictional events in the first Pravda (while we cannot and wish not to broadcast our domestic events).

something about how our funeral practices involve using bodies as fertilizer?
