The Random Number Disruptor:
It is rumoured that in the Forgotten Years of the Past team AC has made a very profitable deal with a person styling himself as Diabolico or somesuch.
One of the clauses of deal dictates that whenever an element of 'luck' is involved, AC team will be the one with most benefit (evidental picture attached) through the use of a weapon called The Random Number Disruptor (or at least that's the modern transcription of it's ancient-egyptian name), transmitted to AC team as a part of the deal.
While the weapon itself is very powerful, we are using it wisely and deploying where it seems most fit.
It is even rumored that a past member of our team being called in many names in places far and near, but best known as Enigma_Nova was exiled from AC team because of unwise and malicious use of said device.

bt: I'm not sure if we should mention E_N explicitly. I do agree he was very annoying and it's a fun joke, but I guess it might upset some people. If we post such info in the beginning of our thread, I predict the first 2 pages will be trash-talking about him rather than discussing the team's strengths. That's not the image we want for our civ IMHO.

I dont see mentioning EN as a good idea personally. If you feel the need to tell whatever team he joined he is a cheater, lets not do it as a message from the AC team.

I knew you were joking, but the thing is, it really has happaned elsewhere. Thus you may likely be taken seriously. Theres a guy on civ2 that has spent what, an hour? Just on turn 1.

The idea that a smacer would spend more then 10 seconds on turn 1 rather than head for the more interesting crawlers etc is a little unplausible.

-proposal: First condition is that they send the PM to either binTravkin or Googlie. Second is that they explain what SMAC stands for in that PM. This is enough screening for new recruits in my opinion.
