It has been some time since we last talked and we wish to ask how is
the research of Feudalism going.
By our measures and the information available about your scientists it
should be ready soon.
Yet, we also get reports that serious currency stockpiling is going on
in your lands, to the extent that little, if any, money is left for
the science funding.
We were expecting a lot more commitment from your economists, since we
have always complied to the terms of deals in the shortest possible
time and we think that future agreements between our nations would be
highly unlikely, if GS doesn't follow the same honorable practice.

I'm a little puzzled by this.

Do they not know that we were about to complete an important library?

Do they begrudge us optimising our economy and expenditures?

Has there been any communication with them that the forum is unaware of?

Have we talked to them about the city site?

That's odd. I explained at length that our multipliers are about to be dramatically increased, so that the stockpiling isn't a big deal and will help team-research in the long run.

It has the scent of war about it. Why would you add the line about not doing any more deals? That is just to slap us.

In any event we could point out that we were in a prolonged war at a time that we were just getting underway and had to try to compensate for some of the damage to our empire. That in no way should be construed as slighting them.

Greetings Stormians!

We see that our last message has not fallen on deaf ears and you have
at last given your scientists appropriate funding.
Therefore we wish to inquire when exactly will Feudalism be
transferred to us. We feel that even without direct funding there must
be some investment already done and the time needed to invest the
remainder shouldn't be hard to calculate.

Funny how their tone has changed over the last few hundred years.

At present research rates we have 5 turns to Feudalism, but it will be less once we build the academic in EotS and move to 100% research. I assume Blake will let them know?
