We could probably take that Warrior spying on Winestrom next turn with our Skirmisher, two Axemen is plenty defense against their potential counter-attack. Or perhaps they're laying an ambush?

Depending on where we find the warrior next turn, I'm all for a "shuffle and return" to eliminate him using Schumacher to kill and Axeman I to cover the hill for a turn. With Axe II in position to cover Winestrom, the most ambush exposure we have is losing Schumacher, but still having sufficient units to protect the city. The key, IMO, is to keep somebody on the hill (assuming their forted archer remains so).
