    I'm experimenting with advance orders - let's see if this helps foster discussion and speed turn play.

    Another motivator for doing this was to work out the precise gold/beaker timings to complete Mathematics. Here is what I got - please go over this and let me know if there are any errors.



    This is running 90% for two turns to build up to a 4 gold pile, then returning to 100% to use up that stockpile. Also figured in is extra gold once the cottage near Taz City is complete. No room for error, as this nets us exactly the 357 required in 1000BC.

        Vox's Warrior has joined their Archer on the hill. Should Cantona join Schumacher, or return 7 to the Taz City forest? I'm leaning towards the latter.

        No barbs within view of SpineBreaker.

            Alternatively, we could take a risk and send him out to the east/northeast, aiming to fort up on the forest hill just south of the marble. Good for watching tricksey Voxians.

                        One will be on the plains forest. I'd expect the other to be following the warrior or to be barb hunting/XP farming.

                          BTW I wasn't joking about throwing Zidane at the archer in the Voice. If he dents the archer enoug hthis war would be over this turn, and considering what those 3 skirms are actually doing...we won't actually lose anything if Zidane just dies. Move the other skirm up next to the city...and just shuffle this axe up after the next one has been built.

                            You want to pray to the RNG gods? That's a double city defender promotion Archer, don't forget.

                            We're going to need such ideas discussed prior to receiving the save, because unless there's been a drastic turn of events, we shouldn't be holding up the save to wait for input on them.

                            I'm hoping at least one other person will chime in on Cantona before I play sometime tonight. I'm leaning on moving 9 to disperse fog, and then we can either circle back to Taz or head to the forest hill.

                              Praying to the RNG only happens when you're screwed when you don't win. Either way Vox dies, but this way [/i]may[/i] be quicker, and the worst case scenario isn't any worse than what would happen anyway. It's a shot-to-nothing as they say in Snooker.
