Hi Everyone

Thanks for your warm welcome. I look forward to being on the team, learning and contributing. Not sure whether it is customary to do so, but I'll post a brief intro.

Mudhut semi-introduced me to CivIII in 2004. Really enjoyed the game - analytical enough to engage my brain but not too intense meaning that I can relax while playing (unlike chess and mathematics). I've been playing CivIV for about 9 months now and I really prefer this version of the game. I've worked my way up to Emporer level where I can win most times. I have spent a bit of time reading the forums and see that I can still learn a lot from good players around here. I have never played MP but look forward to doing so on Saturday when I will show Mudhut what true Aussie mateship is about ;-)

Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do RE the game so far. I look forward to the gathering storm!
