Grog: let's start coming up with contingencies for Vox's possible moves.

Vidane: Start to head east, or continue northeast? (Don't forget exploring to the north is Spinebreaker's job.)

dejon was originally dijon, but one place somewhere along they already had a djion...

Thankfully you kept the same avatar so we can adjust

grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

Well, since you went with a plan of Grog preservation last turn, continue with it this turn. Do your best to lead the enemy away...

If they chase, great. If not (likely), hold and keep LoS on The Voice.

I reckon they will probably put the warrior on the forest (4 of Grog) and the Archer on the gold hill (1 of Grog). Either that or the other way around.

Which means that if we're into Grog-preservation, we need to move 9 or 6 or 3 (ie further east).

I think 9 is our best option, leaves open the possibility of getting to the hill currently 8-8-8 of Grog (with LoS to the Voice).

              It's all speculation, of course...but that's my $0.02

Hmm - I think moving further east is too far to see The Voice, but is still the right move - if we move 6 to the +75% tile, they may not come after us, and we could occasionally move 4 inwards to see the city, then move back. That would annoy and distract them, while maintaining some level of spying as well.

Is it time to bring Vidane (Skirmisher) down, or head further up?

Okey dokey. Good job on keeping things moving Dejon, with little guidance.

They were smarter than I thought -> moving their warrior North East so that we couldn't get to the hill 9-9 of The Voice.

So I like your idea of ending up on the +75% square that is 6-3 of the Voice (that is the one you mean, sin't it? Hard to tell if it is tundra+wooded or tundra+wooded+hills from that screenshot). Ducking back every once in a while to see how things are doing.

How many turns away from The Voice is Vidane? (Also, is it meant to be Zidane? Or is there something I don't understand about the English-French translation...)

I notice in the Graph that Vox have gone to full production, they now appear to be at -1 fpt. I'm going to guess they're training another archer, it's the smart thing to do.
What they aren't doing is growing to size 5. They seem to intend to stay at size 4 for a bit longer. That probably means they don't intend to go on a whipping frenzy.

Thanks, though I'd much prefer guidance to compliments.

Heh - ended up moving 9 so as to have more movement options next turn.

Zidane is named after the French, head-butting football (soccer) player.

Ahh... I understand now, was just a typo above where he was called "Vidane". Sweet.
