    6 is the only forward option with cover for Grog.

    My thought with SB is hoping that the Lion moves back north this turn, SB moves to the next forest for continued cover for the Lion's attack next turn. Then we have the option of healing first, or making a beeline for the hut, maybe moving 1 first onto the wheat to uncover more land. An alternative would be to evade the Lion by moving 7, out of his sight and continuing onto the hut.

      a couple of rule of thumbs:
      - don't move without cover when lions are nearby, especially as SB is a Woodsman I.
      - don't move into the open unhealed (moving onto forest is many times a good choice for healing. Not always though)
      - We need the promotion on SB, a woodsman II would be superb. We will only gain 1 XP from defense, but will normally gain 2 XP from offense. And lions don't get defensive bonusses. It's still early enough in the game to aim for offensive actions against animals. We need the XP as a Woodsman II would be a devastating choker
      - The hut is more important than scouting right now. If we build another city soon, it will be very close to EotS. Don't detour for something we don't need immediately when it comes to SB.
      - Don't let the lion roam around freely... we now know where he is, better to use that. but it's no biggy when we'd lose him, he'll be back later.

        If the lion manuevers onto open ground that is on the way to the hut, we might want to attack it.

          Lion's don't get defensive bonusses. Whenever it's close, we might attack it.

                      Just to clarify -> why is he getting 20% from city defense? I'm guessing he has the City Garrison 1 promotion?

                      Just checking it's *not* because he has been fortified for 4 turns. So his defense is going to go up by 25% before the skirms get here... (of course, they will have archers by then, but anyway!)

                        Warriors were given 20% city defence to prevent warrior rushes. (it should be 25%)

                        I took that into account in my projected odds, and forgot the culture defence.
