Well, there's the first problem.
No one accepted the task of replacement player as far as I can see, and many of the likely suspects are away from their systems/civ disks.
Oh, and Beta's a kitten, not a real cat.

You need warlords upgraded to 2.13 - which many folks got via the bts patch. Not sure you can get it upgraded directly for warlords.Originally posted by notyoueither

Failed to start because D3DX9_32.DLL was not found.
Uninstalled. Installed CIV, Launched. Worked.
Installed Warlords. Launched. Worked.
