Don't get me wrong, I'll be in a team and play the MP game too, but...
I want to play against the AI and learn something. It's the best way to understand the game mechanics...

SP Demogames tend to take a long time.
In the year it will take us to get Macemen, you'll have already learnt how to win the game from many different angles.

If you want, we can get a bunch of people together to start an informal Co-op, where we start with the 1 civ and basically just share saves and strategies around every 5 turns or so.

Which Civs do you prefer? I prefer Industrious, Philosophical and Organised traits.

There will undoubtedly be a SPDG. E_N, SPDGs take way less time than MPDG. We finished what, 2 in the time of C3CDG *getting started*?

I suggest waiting a week or so until we get our own forum for MPDG. Once that happens, this will be clear for SPDG starting

but then the MPDGers started making all their threads, and the other people sort of disappeared
