Whoa!!! Immortal against Blake's AI.
That's a bit scary.
Personally, I went for Monarch. I usually play Emperor but not against Blake’s AI so I am reckoning on the AI being worth one notch on the difficulty level. Unfortunately, this means that we start with the ludicrously high happiness and health caps that these levels bring
but I guess that’s just a cross we have to bear.
What’s the basic happiness cap for Immortal? All I can remember from playing this level was that the “basic” defense of barb cities was 4 archers and AI city spam was relentless.

Yeah, worst comes the worst we get our butts kicked!!!
What are we afraid of, being humbled by a little piece of silicone (and some great work by Blake) ???

Emperor!
Don't listen to Rob - he asks for killer settings - next he'll want Raging Barbs........
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Here's a question.
Is this a straight “most votes” poll?
Currently the leader is immortal but it only gets one-third of the vote while two-thirds of the votes are for a lower level (i.e. there are 6 votes for “Monarchy or lower”)
Currently playing an immortal Viking game and it is going to be tough. Looks like I share a continent with Asoka and JC and the Romans are also on my side of the jungle. The war machine is now cranking into gear but the power graph is showing no signs of changing. Caeser had 4 Praets as early as 1400 BC and now with 5 cities, comfortably beats me in any production, food, gold comparison – that he builds at 70% hammer cost is mildly annoying too.
Are you sure you know what you are letting yourselves in for?
