I would like to put my hand up for the role of Minister of Sports..er.. no... Minister of State... yeah that's better

During this term the role of MOS has been vacant. Fed has been doing a great job in duel roles but I would like to ease the workload and fill this duty. Provided there are no objections from the good citizens of Concordia and the fair Judges of our courts.

Thank you for stepping forward to lend a hand at this time.

I await the courts to clarify the procedure at this time. I would conjecture one of two possibilities. An official nomination(in the nomination thread)/election would occur or the President would appoint you.

Until such clarifications occur I hope the government would give your voice due consideration as a "concerned citizen."

Re. The Constitution

Article V: Government Changes

1. Elections.

...

(b) The election process must be initiated by the Court before the end of any government position's term. The previous officer will remain in office until the end of the term or until a new candidate is elected, whichever is later.

(f) If no candidate is nominated for a position the Court shall extend the nomination for that position for as long as the Court deems necessary.

2. Resignation

(a) Any officer may announce his/her desire to resign at any time.
(b) When this happens for any other position of that of President, the President shall appoint a replacement.

The good way to do it is Court extend the nomination time, then Tism

nominate himself and election. And Mr.P. can appoint Tism to act.

My most humblest apologies to the Term VI government and indeed our Concordian citizens. I have been extremely slack in my official duties of late!! It appears that while I intended to resign as MOS at the end of last term I completely forgot to do so!

So please accept this as my official resignation as Minister of State.

I would also like to offer my full support for Citizen Tism in his nomination for this now vacant role.

P.S. I feel a vague emptiness after resigning so don't be surprised if I pop up again at another election soon!!!

With the untimely, and sad, resignation of FeMme as MoS, during Term VI - I, under the rights of the constitution, appoint Tism as MoS!
