Yes; in fact, I say we should take ALL the religious shrines.
I'll defer to others as to the best order.

Shrine cities not only pay for themselves but tremiously increases the number of cities that we can afford.

There is only one holy shrine - Bombay

The others are 'only' holy cities.

I agree with most of couerdelion's points.

If we are to do this (if) then we need to be fully prepared for a major expedition. We will not hold Bombay against India's culture.

I also agree that the others will probably "dogpile" India, and if we want to hold other cities, then we need a strong plan, and the proper troop compisition ( is this why we need a General ).

The point of my posts in other areas was to trey and stimulate as much discussion as possible as the future actions of our nation.

All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Over time this would be true but as things stand at the moment, I don't even think that a shrine city will pay for itself!! - including the costs of other cities incurred by owning one more city.

And Mr Prez - what about the other Indian cities?

Do you endorse taking Bombay and leaving the rest?

Do you endorse taking Bombay and razing the rest?

Do you endorse taking Bombay & Dehli and razing the rest

Do you endorse taking Bombay & Dehli and leaving the rest?

Do you endorse taking them all?

                The nation needs to know!

                      Weighing in on Indian lands:

Keep the Shrine City of Bombay.
Keep any other Indian cities that are holy cities.
Keep any other cities with wonders.
Keep enough cities to quickly have all resources in Indian lands.

For the rest, Raize cities nowhere near resources along with cities too tightly packed among other cities.
