Yes, I too am with Amazon. The site still shows my order as Shipping Esimate being 24 Oct and a Delivery Estimate of 25 Oct (yes, I opted for overnight delivery)...
but like you both, my status still shows as "Not Yet Shipped."
At least it is nice to know that I have company!____________________________

I went with the free shipping option from Amazon since I am busy during the school week and had even expected this weekend to be busy with a particular girl.
Now she got dragged on some girls' weekend to Bush Gardens and I'll be stuck here this weekend with no CIV."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

Apocalypse, have you tried logging on to Amazon and change your shipping option? You should be able to do this before the game is actually shipped out.____________________________

Yeah....I don't want to pay extra money anyway....and it still might not come in time.
It's supposed to arrive November 9th right now. Which is ok since the weekend after this coming weekend is really busy for me."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

same
Yeah...
I also pre-ordered on Amazon with overnight delivery. It is still estimated to ship on the 24th and arrive on the 25th, but says "not yet shipped".
I guess I'll find out when I either receive the package today, or vow never to pre-order from Amazon ever again.
Actually, the last thing I pre-ordered from Amazon was Civilization 3 Limited Edition (in a special tin!), and that arrived right on time. So I really don't know what to expect today.

My Amazon orders page says the same, I called the closest EB store and they said they would have it tomorrow and I could reserve a copy for $5 bucks and pick it up tomorrow. I then called Amazon.com customer service and said that I wanted to cancel my order then the amazon guy said he would change my shipping to overnight and wave the shipping charges... I said COOL. So I am getting the presell edition for $44.99 shipped to me overnight , I just have to wait another couple days.I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Emailed Amazon to find out when this thing was going to ship. Thier reply was to basically shrug their shoulders and knock off a good portion of the shipping cost.
Thank you for writing to us at Amazon.com.
We apologize for any frustration you've experienced. It is certainly not our intention for our customer to have anything but a pleasant experience at Amazon.com.
Sometimes unexpected fluctuations in supply can add time to our original availability estimate. We have learned that "Sid Meier's Civilization IV Presell Edition" is now back-ordered, and our supplier has not been able to let us know exactly when they expect to have more in stock.
I'm sorry that you were not notified sooner of this change in availability.
To help compensate you for this unexpected change, I have reduced the shipping cost for this order to $8.24.
Please note that although we are upgrading your method of shipping, this does not lessen the amount of time it will take us to obtain the item; it merely speeds up the time it takes to get it to you once we are able to ship it.
We will ship the item as soon as we are able to obtain it. You won't be charged until we ship it to you. On the date of shipment, we'll send you e-mail confirming the date, contents, and method of your shipment.
We would understand if you'd prefer to cancel your order. You may cancel unshipped items through the "Your Account" page, accessible at the top of any page on our web site.
Thanks for shopping at Amazon.com."Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription is ... more cow bell!"

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. It may be on the shelves of my local Fry's when I leave work, so I'll stop there. If I can get the preorder edition, I'll pick it up and cancel my Amazon.com order.
I've had rotten luck this month with online orders. My Padres pennant gear got 'lost' by USPS en route from MVP to me. MVP tried to tell me I could put in a claim and reorder (meaning I get charged for the second order, and wait two weeks to get a refund on the first order!!). I had to talk to a supervisor to get that fixed...
