Game Connection Status

Ok - I am now really confused and somewhat upset. If this is someone's idea of a practical joke - well I am not amused. I logged in to play the turn, and find that someone has changed the name of our team to Black Rose (according to civstats), and conducted all the attacks but a few - very unsuccessfully. No one has reported as playing as such in our forum - in fact - only conmcb and Godking have been around at all, and then somewhat sparingly. And I have no emails from anyone that they were playing. So I have no idea who logged in and played this turn for Calysium. It was not me.

The only good news in this is that I attacked with one of the surviving archers and the game did not go OOS. That is the only move I made.

So I am at a complete loss here. I have worked very hard at this game as of late to get us to this one critical position, and then we have two turns with the game going OOS, and now this bizarre event.

So - if whoever played Calysium's turn would like to step forward ........

I can say that I saw (several turns before) one time (on CivStats) a Calysium connection of such Black Rose player.

It's important to know the following : when someone connects with the admin pass for a civ, the civ pass is canceled (you couldn't connect anymore with your civ password but with the pass admin). To recover your civ password, you must convert the Civ to the AI, and then reconnect and give a new password. So, since you could connect after Black Rose with the current password, it means that Black Rose knows the Calysium password. IMO,you have a mole.

I'll stop the game for now.

There are only five other players in our forum with access to the password.

conmcb25 and BigFree have both confirmed that it was not them.

I am sure it was not GodKing, but waiting to hear from him.

Ditto with HTower, who has not been a regular to the forums.

The 5th is Elucidus, who was the original host and admin. I can't imagine Luc doing this, but would like confirmation as such.

Other than that - I have no idea how someone would obtain our password.

I agree astro. That is what I am looking into, as per the above post. I did not notice the other log in. I will check back in civstats.

edit - checked. But i can only view activity back to the 29th of June.

We have pretty much confirmed its not any of the folks that are on the team, and even remotely active.

This game is on the civstats list? How's it called? I don't seem able to find it...
