The sign I have received from the temple of Odin is to continue on. Thor himself has guaranteed our victory! (although he may, admittedly, be biased in our favor. )

Paddy or Beta would both make good hosts. I have several machines on my network running 24/7 but at times there is a very large amount of bandwidth being used and I am not sure if that would effect anything or not...if not, then even I could put the game on a reliable machine ( as long as not much human time is required to maintain things...RL is incredibly busy right now). I would, however, require the details on how to set it up as well.

Then why aren't those players here volunteering to step up and play for teams that are apathetic enough to run out of turn players.

I don't disagree about the host.

But its not a host vs player thing (well maybe in small Canadian minds it is )

Its about BOTH.

So we get a stable host, whats happens when the next team goes belly up?

My router is basically dying every few days due to overheating, so I'm buying a new one and will have the game down until that point (Friday or Saturday, possibly Sunday or Monday if things go slowly). More than likely at that point it will stop going down randomly, but of course there could be initial problems - but hopefully not :crossfingers:
