The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Definitely not advanced start... and probably not BtS, not until the bugs are ironed out anyways and who knows when that is. Given how long this version of civ will be strong, I have no doubt that a BtS game will be in the offing eventually... patience is a virtue

The next BTS patch should come very soon, Solver said.
We could wait a little : think about the new features it would add to our game : new espionage system, new units, blocades, corporations, apostolic palace, etc.
IMO for a game which should last min two years, we can wait 2 or 3 weeks more to have much more fun
Most of those features I consider to not be beneficial to the game...
Besides - we already talked about this once, and decided not to wait for BtS. There's no reason we should be revisiting this now, well into the game. It will shortly (once I get a save) be up and stable.

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. as to discussing a restart in BTS, I see no reason why it should not have happened, was actually a good time, with the game being down so often etc for a long time - good to get the subject aired
as we all know things do take time to develop, and BTS is proving a popular games format for multiplayers etc, and has some good add ons
let people chat and discuss items, freedom, is something our forefathers fought for, is somethiung we should stand for
and then all join an alliance against the oppressors that make up the poly staff team

I don't think we need ANOTHER Demogame, these things are hard enough to finish as is, one more just dilutes the available and willing player pool.
There is very little game time in this game, even compared to the vanilla demogame and thats being run via PBEM.
If this were redone as BtS, and we got a stable host (no offense Eluc, I appreciate what you did), we could catch up in no time at all.

Yes - he should be. He needs to pull up one of the turn autosaves, or the latest recovery save. If the last turn autosave, teams that had played the next turn will need to replay. If the last and latest recovery save, only the team associated with that recovery save will need to replay.
Either would be fine to get the game going.
