Well, it worked for a second. I logged in, and discovered the game is already in 2320BC. What happened to 2400 and 2360 BC? Anyway, it locked up and now I can't connect anymore.

We should've done it the old fashioned way, PBEM-style with a strict 36-hour (or even 24 hour) deadline. The e-mail always gets through...
But OTOH hindsight is 20/20 as they say...

yeah, found out last night my router is dying.

Game started 25.05.07 we'd have played a dozen turns by now if we were lucky. Even with problems the game is far advanced on that in Pitboss.
In addition to avoiding the reload problem that has turned the ISDG game into such a joke.Comment

Hmm, i can probably host it temporarily ... i'm not 100% either but when not on vacation my games usually stay up most of the time.
Elucidus if the problem is going to be more than a few days, you can email me the autosave from a few turns back (before the problems started) and the admin password to start it, and i'll host it for now, if that's an acceptable solution in the interim to all. It wouldn't be on civstats but it would be up...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
