Better let Calysium and éirich tuireann know that they have to play their 3960BC turns again, as they had already played when the game was turned back to 4000BC and might think that they have not got to worry about 3960BC any more........

Also, does Pitboss have a facility to email each team email address with a new turn started reminder??? If so, how do you implement it??

Cheers and lets Rock 'n' Roll

      Yep.

Just go to the Civstats site, set up an account with your team's email address by registering at the site, then click the "register for this game" link inside the civstats page for this game. Bingo, you have your instant notifications for every new turn.

EDIT: You'll need the password "tyde" to register your leader at civstats (that's the one that Luc has set for everyone).

Well civstats should be doing that, or is that no longer working?

Actually civstats has been having a problem with that, I think. I don't really read the emails so I'm not sure, but in some other games people noticed problems with civstats' email function.

Either way just add a civstats tab to your home page

As far as I know CivStats is broken as far as "new turn" email notifications are concerned. Diplomatic email notifications work however.

It was only when I got a topic reply notification from Strategamer from IanDC that I realised that the game had started.

But I don't really get what the big deal is. Luc and I just coordinated to get the turn done a few minutes ago, and now everyone is back on turn 2. Stratega is even the first team to finish their turn.
Not a big deal at all. I agree. Game on.

But I do have to take you to task for this:

"a perfectly reasonable two-day break from Apolyton".

There is nothing 'reasonable' about two days away from Apolyton.

Thanks Rob - master of technical button pushy stuff....

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
