I have replayed the turn for Calysium that Big Free played last night.

They had 48 hrs. They should play with a 16 hour turn timer to get in shape.

Actually, we had 7 hours from when I found out that the game had actually started (and that was only because IanDC kindly posted a reminder to us in our forum). Even despite this time limit, I would have played the turn if it had not been down the last couple of hours when I intended on playing it. Then the game was brought up with 5 hours left on the clock... at 2.30 am in the morning local time, which didn't exactly give me a chance to play. So I trust you can understand the situation.

And FYI, I'm currently playing in a game with an 11 hour timer and am barely missing a single turn, so I consider myself a reasonably reliable and organised player.

I am Ok with reloading the save to give them a chance to play their first turn. Not that it is that big an issue game wise if you miss your first turn. Consider it a settler move.

Emperor - your explanation covers covers the last 7 hours. What about the first 41?

Not meaning to be difficult - just realistic. With a game with an 11 hour turn timer - you are clearly acclimatised to checking in regularly to a game.

It is my fault it was missed. And I posted, and emailed clearly that if anyone missed their turn because of my mess up I will restart the old turn until everyone gets their turn played. Had this been the second turn it may not have mattered that much, but it being the first, it does.

If it had been your team unable to make it due to my fault, you would want the same courtesy. Lets all keep this fair and fun.

I'm sorry, but I don't check this forum every single day, unless I get topic reply notifications. I received none of these, and never got a message informing me that the game had started, and thus a perfectly reasonable two-day break from Apolyton resulted in me missing the first 41 hours of the game. It was only when I got a topic reply notification from Strategamer from IanDC that I realised that the game had started.

But I don't really get what the big deal is. Luc and I just coordinated to get the turn done a few minutes ago, and now everyone is back on turn 2. Stratega is even the first team to finish their turn.
