Let's play this like a regular game of Civ.
I know the mechanics of "PitBoss" allow for the alternative style of play you mention but I feel it is not in the spirit of Civ, a "Turn Based Strategy" game.
Make your moves, all of them. Do not make double moves until your opponent has a chance to make moves as well.
If you play it the other way you are basically playing an on-line MP game in which that the team that stays logged in the longest gains an adantage over the others.
I think we should play this as basically a PBEM with a built in turn timer/automatic turn skipper (for those that miss the timer), with no doule moves allowed during war. I think this is the most fair way to play.
