As to Keygen and his team ...not sure.

As to snoop and the admin team - I think snoop was the only one playing. The others are too busy banning OTer's I guess.

OK Giwi you have been authorized. You can now enter the goonies private forum by clicking on the blue 'private forum' next to the goonies name - and you will enter that forum. I suggest you add the private forum address to you favourites so you can access the forum directly without having to go to the public forum first - that is what I do.

Eden has not played the Goonies turns - so you are the new turn player. Pitboss is not a big deal - very simple actually.

In warlords - make sure you are patched to 2.13 - but given that you are in the Urtansia game - i am sure you are - it automatically patches warlords as well.

Hit Multiplayer - and then Direct IP connection.

Put

astrologix.no-ip.info

in the network address box and

tyde

for the game password.

Note - I have a separate word document with addresses and password for various games so I can just copy and paste the address for each game.

And for the player name - you can use Giwi - or preferably the team name - I will explain why in a second.

Hit connect and you should connect to the game. You may also be connected to other team's players if they are in the game at that time. It happens sometimes.

You will see a screen with all the civs names - click on the goonies and hit OK. It will ask you for the civ password. That I do not know. You will need to find it in the private forum - or PM UnOrthOdOx. You may want to start a new thread as soon as you get in the forum to ask UnO some questions. he is often busy - but I am sure he will help out if he can.

Enter the password and hit OK. You need to wait a bit while the game data is transfreed and then a second bit while the game initializes/sets up/finalizes. Just be patient - it takes a bit of time - but not long.

You then enter the game and can play the turn. MAKE SURE YOU HIT ENTER OR HIT THE END-OF-TURN BUTTON WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED. That signals to the game that you are done. It should show Waiting for Other Civilizations when you are finished - UNLESS you are the last player to finish the turn - in which case you will see a slight delay - and the game will roll to the next turn. You can then play your next turn - essentially playing two in a row. It is Ok to do that now - but such a double move CANNOT be used to gain an advantage during a war.

To exit back to the warlords main screen - hit the little white box in the upper right next to the orange question mark.

For the next while - given that the goonies have been very unreliable turn players - it would be good to post in the turn tracker thread in the private forum that you have played the turn. I often do - as do Paddy and others.

And feel free to change the name of your civ - customize it to what you want - and make a public announcement that there has been a revolution or whatever. A bit of role play never hurts To do that click on the same little white box, and click on Your Details - and simply change it to what you want. It is your team now.

Using the name of that civilization will help indicate what teams have played. For instance - I log in as Calysium - as others may not know that Beta or ToxoXI is on the Calysium team. Not a big deal but helps.

I will be here to answer any questions you have. The turn has just rolled - so you have 48 hours to play - but the sooner you try the better.

That was on my to-do list for today.

I did hear back from Keygen. He is the only active player on that team - which is shame given that it is a very nice concept. He admits missing a couple turns but is still enthusiastic about the game and will try to stay on top of the turn playing.

If anyone knows anyone who wants to be a Greek, please let Keygen know.

I think it is very detrimental for the whole game and in particular for the concerned team if the latter don't play turns. His civ will miss opportunities to correctly grow and develop. And the world will become unbalanced.

Personally, I would kick the staff team out (sorry if the expression isn't politically correct), so the AI will do things better than nobody does.

They could take again the control of their civ at any time, just by choosing their civ from the list of playing civs, and giving it a new password.

In the interval, Beta can continue his negociations to find new players for this team.

Please, I need your opinion, I would like to do that ASAP

If I want to play the AI, Ill play a single player game. And I don't like the possibilities an AI brings for CIV's to manipulate that AI.

Its just going to drag this game further down.
